Which web browser do you use?

My new site design may contain CSS formatting that conflicts with certain browsers. I'm aware of some issues with Internet Explorer 6, but I'd like to get feedback from as many people as possible about how the site displays in different browsers. Please indicate the browser you use and provide comments if you are encountering display issues. Hopefully the issues aren't so bad that you can't see this page!

I entered FF2, because that's what I primarily use, but I have several browsers installed and so I checked them all. They are: FF2, Safari2, Opera9, Camino1, each on OS10.4. I glanced over the homepage and post page of WV in each, and they all looked quite fine. Not only that, they all displayed almost exactly the same.

Two things seem wonky (and this is the case across all browsers I tested): the "avatar gallery" seems oddly spaced and pushes out to the right beyond, it seems, the right margin. (Furthermore, there are supposedly 4 users, and only one has an uploaded avatar, yet it displays 2 avatars: the one which has been uploaded as well as one generic "blank" avatar. Why not three "blank" avatars? Or no avatars that aren't user uploads? One answer might be that it is told to display "the first two avatars." Sort of an odd feature, although it puts your face on each page, which kind of makes sense).

The other wonky thing is that there is a *long* horizontal scroll. I have no idea why -- perhaps it's related to the blue background in the header? The thin gray line of the footer matches up with the thin gray lines that separate the sections of the two right sidebars, which all also match up to the right-justified set of links at the top. Yet the page scrolls way over to the right as just a big blank space.

These are rather minor though, and don't intrude on the overall "look" or usability of the site.

Hi Jim,

You must have fixed something because when I opened your page it didn't squish together like before. I just wanted you to know since you've been working hard on things and frustrated with it. :)

Sorry, IE still does it :(
