For those of you who own a home and are all domesticated and stuff, it's a well known fact that there's no shortage of crap you can buy for the home. And companies are ready to sell you stuff at every stage of the home buying/fixing/living experience. Right now I'm at the stage where I haven't moved in, but my head is swirling with ideas about what walls I'm going to bust holes through first, what faux painting technique I'm going to use in the living room, where I'm going to position the hot tub on the new deck, etc.  read more »

I just bought my first home and I'm totally excited. The event prompted me to go ahead start this blog, which I've been wanting to do for quite a while, but I'll write about that in a separate post.
