I was all about resuming my blog posting and being more consistent about it right up until I converted the site to Drupal and found that I have all kinds of display errors. I know it's just some misplaced <div> or something, but it fucking pisses me off. So I abandoned the blog for a while again...again. I'll get around to fixing this stuff eventually, but I AM NOT designing for Internet Explorer 6! IE6 is a nightmare. If you still have IE6 then stop it already. Get a real browser so you can see what the web has to offer besides parasites and malware.

Lia and I went to see Cold War Kids at the 930 Club . They're a great band and they sounded great live. The singer has a pretty high voice and sings hard, so I wasn't sure if he could pull it off live, but he did. I get their songs stuck in my head so bad all the time. Drives me nuts. Opening for CWK was some lame band from Toronto (is that redundant?) called Tokyo Police Club . I guess they weren't terrible, but their sound is very derivative and they ended every song in the same sudden, dramatic fashion. They're the kind of band I would think is really good if I they were friends of mine. They also had the misfortune of following Delta Spirit , a really fun band comprised of great musicians and a strong singer. Delta Spirit sounded great live, but for some reason I'm not really feelin' their recorded stuff. Look out for them though. They're a great band to see live.

I've been really depressed and lethargic this winter, which I'm trying to break out of before everyone I know begins to hate me. If you haven't heard from me in a long time and you feel you should have, please don't take it personally. I'm a shithead to everyone equally.
