Well this blog is mine. Everyone should have one. That way we don't have to actually speak to each other anymore - we can just read each other's blogs when we want to catch up ;) I've been wanting to start a weblog for a long time, but I'm usually working on many projects at once and this one has always fallen by the wayside. Two main reasons I've started it now:

1) I'm going to document my experiences with buying my first house and renovating it. I think my experiences will serve as a great information resource because I'll share all of my experiences, frustrations, and joyful accomplishments, thereby helping others in the same situation to avoid the some pitfalls and achieve even better results. And it'll force me to keep records for tax purposes.

2) I make my living on the internet. I sell stuff to people. I sell stuff for other people. I place ads on my sites for more revenue. Whatever, ya know? Just as long I don't have to get a real job. And blogs are a great way to create content, which draws in traffic and Google PageRank.

So the idea is to do something that's fun, communicates my life events to family and friends, and allows me to goof off at work and justify it.
