In case you were wondering...

...I did make it back. I probably should have written something to say I made it back and summarize my thoughts on my trip, but it just seemed impossible. I don't think I've quite worked out all my thoughts on arriving in Sri Lanka and now I'm already back. That's a whole lot of different stuff to think about. Chris D. called me Saturday with a project update and he posted a new blog entry here. His post further substantiates my theory that when you're doing the right things in life, you encounter the least possible resistance. It sounds like everything fell right into place. By now the last remaining volunteers are preparing for a long trip home and I can only imagine what's going through their heads. Those guys were there much longer than I was. But soon it will all just be memories for them as well. In the future I'm sure I'll make the random post about some experience I had on my trip or an epiphany I've had as a result of it, but for now I'm going to let it rest. To over analyze or over explain my thoughts would only diminish them. I did upload my photos here, so check 'em out.

For the past week I've been doing yard work and planting trees. Since my trip I haven't been too fond of being indoors. Unfortunately the weather here has only been on the verge of getting warm, but not quite there yet. Last weekend was beautiful, however, and I had a really nice time on Sunday afternoon/evening. That's all I have to say about that ;)
