Ok, based on my last post you could conclude that I'm either uninformed or I have a good ear. I choose the latter. The reason Iron & Wine's "Such Great Heights" reminds me of DCFC is because the original version of "Such Great Heights" is by The Postal Service. Ben Gibbard, the singer for DCFC, is also the singer for The Postal Service. Whew! Good thing I caught that one before someone pointed out my oversight. I wouldn't want to be viewed as uninformed or even *gasp* wrong about something now, would I?
I'm a huge fan of the album Transatlanticism and DCFC now, btw. I've been wearing out the disc since I posted last week and I highly recommend it. Now I'm finding all kinds of new stuff, which is a welcome change. I've been in a musical drought for quite a while since I burned myself out on Radiohead.

I just found a page where you can listen to the entire DCFC concert from the 9:30 Club a couple months ago - I'm not sure if this is the one you went to or not, but either way, it's a good way to relive it! The sound quality isn't as clear as the album, obviously, but it's fun to listen to Ben sing live. (Listen to me, calling him Ben like we're gonna hang out this weekend...) The set list is available on the page as well, and I'm sure you of all people could find a way to skip around to hear specific songs.
NPR offers this live broadcast on their page (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4963560), and a link is also available through www.wtmd.org - for anyone else who might read this and want to "take a wissin'".
Give Bodie a kiss for me.
