Well the Memorial Day BBQ turned out to be a lot of fun and well worth the couple of intense weeks of work to get things ready. Fortunately next year I won't have to actually build the deck in the week prior to the party! Thanks to everybody who came and everybody who helped get things ready and brought food and other stuff. Special thanks to Joe who manned the grill all evening, my mom and Kieran's mom for bringing tons of great food, a dozen other people for their food/drink contributions, and to Kieran and Jason for supplying great music. Oh, and Brian put on an especially entertaining late night set that was definitely not for the kids, but had me laughing really hard. Thanks everyone! Of course Lia belongs in a different category alltogether - for several days she helped me prepare and basically cleaned my entire house and listened to me bitch and moan about everything.
